Thanks, that's the address I tried last time. He's moved since then, so I'm going to try him at the Sports 1 Marketing address and see if I have better luck.

On a side note, there is a company doing a signing with RG3 here in Virginia this weekend. Get this, he's charging $100 and up. WOW! I can't wait for him to be a Redskin, but $100 is too steep for me. I guess you try to get people to pay it now while you're hot. Thought you all may find that interesting.
Some favorites from my collection, so far, are...

Favorite TTM Autographs: Stephen Davis, Jim Lachey, Peyton Manning, Mark McGwire, Chris Samuels

Wow... $100??? Thats really steep, especially if we dont know if he'll even amount to anything in the NFL. I remember a local sports shop having a Knicks signing of Steve Novak, Amare Stoudemire ad Iman Shumpert for $100 each and $25 inscription... But yet, I got Amare and Novak and Chandler at a game a few weeks ago for free.

Sorry guys, been out of the loop. Finally got back into the job force and plugging away.

I finally broke my streak and got one back today with former CU wonderback Rashaan Salaam signing 2 cards for me in a bit over 200 days from his home in SD. Hit me up if you need it and you're a regular here.

I have a card trading shop about 20 miles from me. They occasionally have signings and UD did a release party there. I always keep my ear glued to sports radio and look through the sports ads for appearances. I did a few customs for one of the local personalities on the station, and they try to fill me in when they have an appearance.

100.00 is really steep. Sorry to hear that he's already trying to cash in. You may have better luck at training camp or floating a card out to him at the beginning of the season and trying to sweat it out.

EDIT- I went through Sports1marketing in CA for his autograph this last time and it worked like a charm.

Congratulations on your recent successes everybody. Sorry for the secondary post. Following up on a few people's comments.

Steve Young can be reached care of the "Forever Young" foundation for a nominal donation.
Rathman was a hit for me via the 49ers last season.

Framing is an expensive business. if you have to get it framed professionally, unfortunately its cheapest to go to Hobby Lobby or Michaels for assistance than through a local shop.

Just a note: I know that everybody is getting keyed up for their teams mini-camps etc, but keep in mind your colleges will be holding their Spring Scrimmages soon. This is a great time usually to ambush a few former players at. Ricky Williams will be at his statue unveiling for UT, and Jerry Rice tends to haunt the sidelines for UCLA now that his son plays there.

So, this is not exactly a TTM success, but it is pretty cool. The guy who got me started with the whole card collecting, TTMing thing came into my work today and gave me a bag full of SIs from the early 80s and late 70s. Definitely think I'm going to try and mail them off, if the people are still signing/alive.... (heck yes I'm being optimistic here....)

Also, I'm kind of in a rut. I haven't had any successes in a little while. It is sad.

Oh well, big day on Saturday. I'm pretty pumped about meeting these people.

Any great successes lately?

Congrats on that success, it's always a great feeling when you can get your favorite player to sign something for you.

A lot of great successes here lately. My work schedule keeps getting changed, so it's hard for me to find time to head to the post office to grab stamps. I'll get these requests out at some point...

Huge, huge, in person success today. I got Ricky Williams on his UT Upper Deck card.

He does not sign without a 20.00-30.00 donation to the Ricky Williams Foundation. TTM I am not sure. I had a previous failure charged to the Dolphins for him.
