Gene Simmons of Kiss!!

If you’ve seen my post before you know I’m a huge Playboy collector. I live in Vegas and get a lot of chances to meet Playmates & Celebrity Cover Models (Not Bragging).

Today I met one of my Top 5 Playboy Celebrity Autographs I’ve been wanting in my Collection and it happens to be Mr. Gene Simmons from the “Hottest Band in the World, KISSSS!!” He was in town today promoting their new in-door glow in the dark mini golf course. I was lucky enough to score an “All Access Pass” from a friend of mine.

We hung out for a while next the black carpet waiting for the band to arrive. After they took some pictures on the carpet http://www.kissonline.com/news/ we were allowed to join them inside for the opening party!! As soon as I walked in there was Gene behind the counter signing away. I pulled out my magazine and he signed it for me!!

Then he opened it up and signed another pic inside too!!

I’ve heard a lot of stories about him being a bad signer but like I said he was signing like crazy and taking pictures for everyone!!

I also got Drummer Eric Singer & Guitarist Tommy Thayer to sign a drumhead for me

Paul was there but he was a bit overwhelmed and bailed out earlier then the rest of the guys. I wanted to get him to sign the foldout that gene signed inside the magazine but missed him.

I was there too- Paul shot me down Paul style at least twice (he simply ignores you- thats how he does it). Paul is not a good signer unless its the right situation (which is a paid m/greet). Someone inside was asking for Gene to sign something and Paul said "To Ebay"- ouch. Congrats on the Gene items.

Yeah, he was a bit strange. I didn't pay for my pass but I know they were charging $500 for them online. If I paid that I would've been pissed!

This guy I was talking to had a black KISS kick drum head signed by Gene, Ace, & Peter. All he needed was Paul and he just hid out in the VIP room and refused to come out and sign for any of us. Like I said I was there mainly for Gene and was happy to get the other guys but the whole Paul situation was a little disappointing.

The whole thing with celebs and eBay is a whole other story.
