Re: How many stamps do you usually put?
Envelopes can be weighted at your local post office. The amount of stamps (price) depends on weight of envelope.
Re: How many stamps do you usually put?
It depends on where you are located, where the letter is going, how much it weighs and what size it is.
In the US a large envelope needs at least .92 in postage (that's what I put on my SASEs) if the TO address is in the US. if it is heavier than one photos it would need more postage. Let me know what you send and I can try to figure out the posage for you.

Does that count for US letters? I really want to send bigger photos with autograph requests but I don't wanna spend too much on big envelops+their postage. (In Germany big envelops cost more- no matter how much the weight, so huge envelop=higher price)solosolo wrote: The amount of stamps (price) depends on weight of envelope.

Yes. In the US you have to take into account the size of the envelope as well as the weight. Sending a large envelope will cost more than sending a normal letter sized envelope even if they weigh the same. For example I can send a 6X9 envelope with a letter in it and it will cost .45 in postage to another US address. But to send that same letter in a large envelope (9X12) to the same address it will be .92.Judy89 wrote:Does that count for US letters?
