Keep in mind how much fanmail the two of them probably get. I imagine that it is not easy to try and keep up with all of what they probably get.

Or maybe its that they dont want to sign, if they were to get alot of requests there would be a couple successes but they are known to not sign at all...maybe for big bucks but thats it...

Alot of former Yankees sign. You just have to know who you want.

Not a lot of current Yankees sign. Recently, I have gotten Brett Gardner and David Robinson ttm. I have requests out to David Phelps, Raul Ibanez and Andruw Jones. I will be sending to Eric Chavez and Brian Cashman shortly.

I'm not trying to defend them (at least not totally) by any means. It would be nice if everyone took the time to sign at least an occasional autograph. That said, it is also easy for us to judge when we are not in their position.
