Pehraps she loves to make her fans feel happy and important and answers her fan mail. their is no definate proof of her secretary signing her mail. Talking about the different Ds Countpaul has just said that a long time ago she used to sign the D in the style she is signing now. :D Lets hope for the best.
Thanks for bumping a 5 year old topic..thats always appreciated. In other news, your always in denial. Every ovs fake you always say is authentic. John Travolta, Doris Day, Robin Williams... like your living in denial. Let the people who actually been collecting for a while and over the age of 12 speak up because they know what the hell there talking bout.

Anybody know why the return envelopes are usually postmarked in Kentucky? Doesn't make sense.

Like Clint Eastwood you won't get Doris Day TTM. She also hasn't signed autographs authentically in over 20 years.

I sent mine into PSA/DNA and they said it was 100% authentic! I'll take the PROFESSIONALS over the opinions of others on this website about her!

Ok. Here's an authentic Doris Day from my own private collection. This was signed in 1948. One of the earliest examples of Ms. Day's signature from when she had just made her first motion picture.

It's not showing up. I don't know what you were trying to prove (with her D's or simply showing her signature gets different) but people's signatures do change over time. And I'll stick with my professional opinion.

I'm not trying to be rude to you prettykitty...I'm just saying in general people on this website feel they are pros at things but they aren't. It's nice to have opinions, but I'll take a pros over theirs.

On Ebay, you have these two examples of PSA/DNA accepting her signature:

http://www.ebay.com/itm/DORIS-DAY-SIGNE ... 255d29f022

http://www.ebay.com/itm/Doris-Day-Signe ... 5890e5611d

As you see, both D's are accepted by the PROFESSIONALS!

I also don't understand why people are so hardcore to say that Doris Day lies to her fans like this. She hasn't made a movie since the late 60's (68 or 69). She doesn't do concerts. She doesn't do anything public, really apart from her animal foundation. Why would she feel the need to lie to fans by sending out fake signatures??? And when people email and ask, why have the person who responds lie??? A simple, "Ms. Day doesn't sign TTM anymore" would do just fine. Simply returning things back unsigned wouldn't hurt her anymore than the other living legends and modern actors that do the same. Ms. Day HAS NO NEED to fool her fans like this and lie about when people ask.
