Stan Musial SUCCESS!!!

Unread post by JayHo7284 »

I'm really happy to have this success. I am currently in the process of getting all of the living (& future) St. Louis Cardinals' Hall of Famers to sign a baseball. I got Albert Pujols to start this process off with & sent it off to Stan Musial to his address from the database. I sent the ball, LOR, SASE, & blue pen before Memorial Day. I received it back signed today on the sweet spot!

Brave man to send that Pujols signed ball...but looks great! I'd be terrified to send it to anyone else at this point...would only do personal signings now. Looks awesome though!

Did you really send to Pujols through the mail? Which address?

Spring Training for the Angels...Diablo Stadium. I got a number of items I sent to him last year back at the beginning of Spring Training. I think he was feeling guilty.

I sent it to Stan because I knew that even if he didn't sign it he'd still send it back to me. He's a real stand-up guy. I've got the shows I'm going to get the other ones all scheduled out. Even going to get Tony LaRussa because he's damn near close to a guaranteed Hall of Famer just like Pujols.

Feedback is always welcomed and appreciated!

I collect signed Hall of fame postcards and 8x10 photos signed by baseball Hall of Famers and I'm always looking to add to my collection with players I don't have yet.

JayHo,

I am a huge baseball fan as well, so I had a few questions for you.

1) Where can you find authentic MLB baseballs for purchase?
2) How much does it cost to send a baseball in the mail? And what kind of item did you send it in?

I'm on a budget, so I'm trying to figure out if I should just stick to the 8X10s or whether I can afford to send the balls. I would love Sandberg and Ernie Banks to autograph something for me. Thanks!

1) ROMLB can be bought cheapest online...just Google it. Or, you can buy them at any sporting goods store for $14-$20. If you're on a budget, you can always send a Babe Ruth League ball & they're only around $2-$4 each.

2) I use the Scotch 8x11 bubble mailer to send them off in & Scotch 6x9 bubble mailer as the return mailer. It's $2.64 to send it off & $2.46 to send it back.

P.S. - Ryne Sandberg only signs baseballs in-person at Iron Pigs' games (very liberal in-person signer, though-2 per person) & Ernie Banks will sign baseballs for free, but he normally doesn't put his HoF year on them.

Good Luck!!!
