You question why??...The answer is simple...and yes it DOES go back to the infamous comment "It's Johnny Depp", lol, But in all seriousness, it's because Johnny Depp is who he is...GUARANTEED he gets hundreds if not thousands of Autograph requests a day, if he was to sign all of them by hand and return them...well he definitely wouldn't have the time to make the movies he does...or anything else for that matter...And I HAVE to say this, and no this is NOT directed at "giggerg" as they seem genuinely happy to have received something back...Pre-Prints and Autopens may NOT be authentic to the idea of "HIS HAND TOUCHED MY PIECE" but at least you got something back!!...People bitch and moan on here about PP's and AP's, who cares, you got a response and that shows at least SOME sort of loyalty to the fans as NOWHERE in their job description does it state they have to spend countless hours responding and replying to every person that writes to them. Just be happy you got something back.

I really can't stand when people say "be happy you got something back". I get and respect that some celebs can't sign and no ones obliged too. But I don't spend my time and money on photos and postage and envelopes in hoped of getting a fake back. I'm in this hobby to get real, authentic signatures.... Not machine or laser printed signatures, or worse a forged sec signature. I'd much rather them just send back my stuff then send me a fake
