Re: President Barack Obama Personal Sucess!!!
^^^ Yeah, it was a scam in this instance but that doesn't change the fact that you and many others were arguing that it isn't possible to receive a presidential signature or gain one in person... which is exactly the point that I was trying to prove. Tell me where I said anything about this instance aside from a congrats and a leave the op alone? My argument was that you could get a signature, and that it is entirely possible. Which I proved.
It's a shame someone had to post this here, though.

Excuse me? I was the last to post on this thread and since you used ^^^ you must be talking to me? I never argued anything so please go back & reread the entire post - I only posted once. And truthfully I couldn't give a sh-it less if someone got a real Obama signature in the mail or a fake one. So saying that I and many others were arguing is complete BS. ;)sabrinaalexandra wrote:^^^ Yeah, it was a scam in this instance but that doesn't change the fact that you and many others were arguing that it isn't possible to receive a presidential signature or gain one in person... which is exactly the point that I was trying to prove. ... No I was pointing a few posts above to the person who kept calling me and others gullible, I forgot to hit the quote button and was already typing so that's the way I did it.vivalakayla wrote:Excuse me? Yes it is too bad that he the original poster wrote this scam success on here. I think though the link posted by another poster does prove he has signed things as President and probably will continue to do so. I notice to that the original poster has now cancelled his account. I dont know what anyone would gain by posting that on here. Its not like it would make a difference. What did he want us to be jealous? I have met many Presidents and been lucky enough to get autographs and autographs of people no longer signing TTM. Olivia De Havilland for one. But so what.....I mean what does that have to do with anything unless its a reply to a post about a success of a President or Olivia De Havilland.....Some posters need a life...LoL and no that last comment was only meant for the OP.....

Re: President Barack Obama Personal Sucess!!!
I got the Obama signed baseball from Senator Scott Brown, who I know well. It is real because an autograph expert named Nick (the owner of the ebay store Nicks Sports and Autographs) appraised it for me. Nick is the only person I trust on this forum. When I first posted the post two (or maybe 3) guys said it was a secretarial. Those two guys are not experts like Nick is. They have a right to there opinions but they were false and they insulted me by saying it was fake when it was not. I only trust Nick because he knows his autographs and how to spot a fake because he has done it in the past and he is always right. Anyways people can say it's fake (even though it's not) because this is a public forum and everyone is entitled to there own opinion. However I only believe Nick's.
This was the baseball and It was signed by Obama himself (it's obvious).

Yes if you unlike he original poster is Keith I can tell very much that its genuine......congrats.
Was he President or Senator at the time? I have seen him in person as President sign also have seen both Bushes and Clinton as President sign. I heard that as President Reagan used to have a small post it not type thing made up with the presidential seal on it and when asked at an event to sign he would put the post it note on most items. I do note that each signature was differnt so they were not autopen. I think we would have to agree most Presidents while in office use an autopen a secretary and a preprint......But real items are in fact out there signed as President by all of them. The other time I met Bush #1 as President I was at a campaign event where most people had spent 5,000 for the honor. He was kind of in a hurry as he had a 10,000 event at the same hotel Palmer House Hilton in Chicago directly after but he stood shaking hands and signing autographs for as long as time allowed......then waved both hands to everyone else and said sorry but i've got to go....
The throng around him was big but not un manigable and secret service were a little laid back. But for one 9/11 had not happened yet. Also as they call it....it was a secure room. Meaning everyone had been screened by SS# and had to go through metal detectors. Plus even thought my ticket was free One could assume people payong 5,000 and 10,000 one week beofre the election without some type of "Presidential Experience" would not be to happy.....lol

Re: President Barack Obama Personal Sucess!!!
He was President at the time! My father knows Senator Scott Brown and I happened to run into his assistant and I asked him if Obama could sign something for me and a year later he did. However, I bought the baseball at a Target store and it was a rubber one not leather. The rubber ball cost $2.00 and I mailed it to his assistant and he knew someone who works for Obama as well.
Back to the TTM, When I said former US Presidents don't sign TTM I meant to say baseballs or books. I'm pretty sure they do sign in-person all the time. Although when it comes TTM most of the time it's a PP or AP.
Anyways countpaul, It's a pleasure to meet you!

Re: President Barack Obama Personal Sucess!!!
Don't feel so bad. I am not talking negatively about anyone here, but sometimes people are quick to jump to accusations with out reliable evidence - which can be said for everyone on this forum (including myself at times). But, it's the manner in which some present the evidence or comments which some don't think about at all that drive me crazy as well. I am no expert on his (Obama's) autograph or whatever like I've stated already and I understand when people are overly critical toward rarer signatures but delivering rude comments is uncalled for, but not something to dwell on.kgcautographs wrote:I got the Obama signed baseball from Senator Scott Brown, who I know well.
