ON 6/18/12 I SENT COLBY LEWIS A CARD, LOR, SASE VIA RANGERS BALLPARK AND TODAY 6/30/12 I RECIVED THE CARD BACK IN MY SASE BUT THE AUTO JUST LOOKS FUNNY TO ME IDK HAVE A LOOK AND LET ME KNOW WHAT YOU THINK. LOOKS LIKE A AP OR THE CARD WAS SHINNY AND THE INK COULDN'T STICK GOOD IDK, PLEASE ANY INPUT IS APPRECIATED!!

It just looked like his used a crappy marker or pen. Its not fake or anything. I hope I get him back soon, because I sent to him June 4th.

Signature looks pretty consistent to other successes I've seen from him. Most likely since it's a glossy card, it caused the marker to bubble just a little. He must have given it time to dry otherwise it probably would've smeared horribly. You probably want to prep your cards before you send them. Most ppl I know use baby powder. Rub it all over the card really hard and then rub it off on your jeans or with a cloth of some kind. (Make sure you get all the powder off before putting the card in your envelope, you don't want them to think you're sending something harmful in your envelope!)

I forget what it is exactly but something in the baby powder that rubs off onto the card causes the pen/autograph to stick really well. I do this on all my glossy cards and they come back looking great.

thanks guys ill have to get some powder and try it!!! i'm glad its real though this is my first real success!!! ive gotten back 2 pp, could yall check the nolan ryan i posted and tell me what you think about the jumbo card i recieved back it looks real but idk

Looked to me that the card wasn't de-glossed before being sent out which would make the marker bubble like it is. I don't use baby power but an eraser which works very well tho you have to get the right eraser for it to work right. http://www.officedepot.com/a/products/7 ... hite-Pack/
This is the best one for de-glossing cards just rub it on the card like your erasing something then run it off on a towel or your pants or shirt and it should help it stick better.
