Rosario Dawson is one of my favorite actresses, and she is rapidly becoming (that is, if she isn't one already) a huge star. She has starred in such movies as "Alexander," "Sin City," "Men In Black 2," and "Rent."This is not a conventional success, as it was not in person, via venue, or TTM exactly. Here's the story:
On November 22, 2005 at midnight (so really November 23) I went to see one of the first public showings of the movie "Rent" in the country. Rosario Dawson's mom was there (along with 2 stars of the movie), but Rosario was not. After the movie, I was able to give Ms. Dawson my address and a 5x7 photo and she said she'd try to get Rosario to autograph it for me and that she'd then send it to me.
On January 19, 2006, I received a large envelope with a different photo (8x10) and a very nice note from Rosario's mom. She said she was enclosing a favorite photo of hers instead, which is really great because it's much better than mine. It's a photo of Rosario at her home playing Twister with some fake aliens around her
