I don't think he is at the address anymore because I sent a second time a couple weeks ago because I thought the firstwas a goner, and that one got RTS'd. He may notbe at the address anymore and caught up on the fanmail he got. But just in case, here is the address.

Herschel Walker
3000 Blackburn St
Apt 1901
Dallas, TX 75204

When mine got RTSed it gave me a forwarding address to send to but I lost my entire request in general somewhere in my room. Oh well I'm sure finding it shouldn't be to hard and he seems to be good with fanmail.

Another question. A lot of college athletes are leaving if not have already left for college. Any idea when a good time to send to them would be? Definitely have some football players I want to send too.

Sending to colleges can be very hit or miss, so do not send anything you don't want to chance losing. For example, I am 0-3 sending to the University of Michigan. I've even tried some of the lower level guys and got nothing. There are some people, however who have had success sending to USC. It's a gamble, but I'd say late August would be a good time to start sending those in.
Some favorites from my collection, so far, are...

Favorite IP Autographs: Chris Cooley, Shawn Michaels, Ric Flair, Faith Hill, John Riggins, Bruce Smith

Favorite TTM Autographs: Stephen Davis, Jim Lachey, Peyton Manning, Mark McGwire, Chris Samuels

Favorite Sports Teams: Washington Redskins, Boston Celtics, Boston Red Sox

I took a shot at Denard Robinson, but I knew that was probably not coming back. I also sent to Jeremy Gallon and Junior Hemingway (while he was still at Michigan) last season with no luck. I know I sent one more, but until I get into my personal laptop I can't say who for sure. It's funny because I know the Michigan basketball team signs pretty well.

Hopefully I have more luck with Junior Hemingway c/o Chiefs TC, which I just sent out last week. I'm sure I'll have better luck with "Shoelace" once he joins the NFL as well. I just recently sent to Chad Henne too, so my Michigan collection may finally start to grow.

Oh and in case you couldn't tell by his sig, 46 is a State fan. That is a fact I choose to overlook

College players are becoming more and more difficult to get autographs from. This is because many colleges are aware that there are people who make money off of the autographs they get, and some players have gotten in trouble for exchanging autographs for favors- (ie Ohio State tattoo scandal). It's led to a general crackdown by many institutions. Some of them make you sign a waiver promising not to sell the autographs, and limit the number requested, some require a personalization, and some unfortunately have stopped the practice all together. I'd check if there are autograph guidelines at the college's athletic sites before proceeding forward. Many of them are different.

Got former Kent State runningback and 1991 NY/NJ Knights WLAF leading rusher Eric Wilkerson on 6 cards. This big coup gives me over half of the initial Pro Set 1991 WLAF set autographed (76/150).

Thats the problem with college coaches. It is a recruiting violation for them to sign for high schoolers (players are allowed to sign for high schoolers) so I'm stocking up on coaches before I go into high school. The only current college player I have is a very good one, Wisconsin RB Montee Ball. Matt Barkley has signed really well, but for some reason, he didn't sign any of my 5 requests to him. College basketball was a success with autographs this season as I got 5 out of 11 between February and April so I can't see why football wouldn't be the same.

I just put out Hemingway as well a few days ago along with Jake Long and Chad Jenne. I knew he was a State fan I decided to overlook it as well lol. I also am waiting till late August to send to Jordan Kovacs because I friended him on Facebook and sent him a PM asking him how I'd go about getting his autograph and he gave me instructions and told me he would take care of it so that one is a given success.

As far as basketball I'm hoping to send to Tim Hardaway Jr as I started collecting late and couldn't send to him this year. Trey Burke is worth a shot along with Jordan Morgan.

Sorry to make this post utterly long to but what are your guys thoughts on sending to highschool prospects? I'm 18 and I just graduate highschool and if I was getting requests for my autograph I think it'd be pretty cool. A lot of those basketball players are always in the spotlight and even when I went to the Michiganspring game and recruits were visiting people were grabbing their autographs.

Last thing got David Akers TTM today after a long long one week drought.
