How long are your LOR's?

Unread post by Blackhawks026 »

How long do you guy's make your LOR's? Mine are usually about 1 full handwritten page on lined notebook paper. When I write a band VV, the letters are a bit longer (around 2 pages) because I tend to have more to say to them. I always try and make mine personal and interesting for them to read, not just the simple "Dear __, I'm a big fan of yours and I think you're very talented. Could you please sign my picture? Thanks." I hate letters like that lol

Normally a lot over 1 a4 page, but not that much longer than 2.

Lots of people say keep to one page or less but if the celeb is going to read letters from their fans I think they would prefer longer more heartfelt ones than short ones where the biggest part of the LOR is explaining why you would love their autograph. Or explaining what a IRC is  (i remember I used to have to do that, luckily I can just use a SASE now 8) )

I don't know... I think if you're going to write a letter, and use a SASE you might aswell put everything you have into it.

And if the celeb can't be bothered to read thats their problem for not giving it a chance, not yours.

The minimum for me is at least 2 pages. I write a full page on notebook paper. The most I have written for was about 8 pages. But that's because I have big handwriting.

8 pages. Wow! I write a half a letter to a whole (handwritten). I sometimes type if I plan to write more than 2 pages, which I have done for special celebs.
