Hi,
Me and my son are considering sending our cards away to the clubs the players play for, however we wanted to know if you have to send each one individually addressed? Eg,
Franck Ribery
FC Bayern Munchen
And so on, or just address the club and hopefully they would forward them to each player?
Any help would be appreciated.

Re: Football (soccer) cards help
Don't send your cards, photos and stuff to Bayern. Players won't sign your items.
Although you can request a signed clubcard of a specific player and a secretary will send you 1 clubcard or more. They send authentic and preprinted ones. Players pre-sign many clubcards and they are sent out to us. It's not that easy to receive authentic one, it depends on which player you are asking for. If the player is well known as Robben,Ribery,Neuer etc. then you have less chances to receive authentic. Others are way easier to get. But have a try, I recently received an authentic clubcard of Neuer.
Just send a letter of request to FC Bayern address (check the database here) and don't send an envelope addressed to you - they will send their own to you.
Hope this helps. Good luck!

Re: Football (soccer) cards help
I did that last week, just my son collects the cards and he has some signed. Wanted more but we obtained them IP the first time around.
I know french clubs send them back signed (some), I know English clubs are absolutely useless with fans. For instance, when I was younger I wrote to man utd, I got a pre signed sheet of player autos, a program and a letter signed by the chairman (martin edwards era). Nowadays you get squat

Yeah I agree with you with everything above.
German clubs send only pre-signed clubcards just like this viewtopic.php?f=2&t=261246
French clubs are good with fanmail, you can send your own stuff.
You can also try Ajax Amsterdam (De Boer, Bergkamp). They send pre-signed club cards.
EPL clubs are mostly useless, but some less popular clubs (Sunderland, West Brom, Aston Villa, Bolton etc.) are responding from time to time. Although Man City won't answer fan mail anymore, I was able to receive Joe Hart last season. Don't try Arsenal, Chelsea, Spurs, Liverpool - I didn't receive anything back from them.
