At the bottom of each page are arrow keys to the left and right. There's not much to do on the first chapter. So, after exploring a little, just click on the right arrow key to proceed. there should be something that says "Explore Chapter 1". If you click on that, I think it should work.

yeah i was on the first chapter, it wasn't working. i tried clicking on the lampost it turned purple but nothing happens beyond that.
