To be honest though I find ND-Michigan a bigger rivalry than against MSU. Don't get me wrong I'm not trying to argue because I live in the state of Ohio and get plenty of words from all the snobby OSU fans. MSU has been a good program the past few years and will feed off that and that is great for the Big 10 to have another power in the conference but I don't see MSU continuing their reign in the state of Michigan anymore.

Wait, I thought Devin Gardner was the Savior? Or is it McGuffie? You guys and your recruiting championships.
All that matters is on the field. Michigan owned State for years. State owns Michigan currently. The National Championships from before we were born mean nothing.
If OSU or ND is a more important game for you than MSU, you have no clue. You wont get to a B1G championship or Rose Bowl without beating State.
Blah. I love football season

Typical Michigan fan, trying to talk about the old days when Michigan was actually relevant. All that matters is NOW, and now MSU is the more dominant program. And I know about Morris, he will be really good. When he comes along, Michigan should be able to dominate again, honestly. MSU still has a top 5-10 defense in the nation though. Their offense won't be very good though. I still think MSU should be able to beat Michigan again.1/10mtndiv wrote:I don't remember Michigan fans talking about MSU like this during the John L. Smith or Bobby Williams days. Why? because MSU isn't even U of M's biggest rival. Don't get me wrong It's a great rivalry, but I don't think we (Michigan fans) ever hated MSU like we hate Ohio State. We laugh at Ohio State's misfortune and want them to lose every game, while MSU looks at Michigan like that. I haven't ever hated MSU, I have a lot of friends who went there. I do however dislike their douchenozzle fan base. Seriously, it's all I ever hear on the radio, MSU fans bashing UofM. Get over it dude, MSU was terrible for a long time. My grandpa took me to my first Michigan game against Tiki Barber and Virginia in '94 I haven't ever seen Michigan teams like the teams of the last few years. Congrats, MSU took advantage of some terrible Michigan teams. Since I've been a Michigan fan, Michigan took advantage of a lot more terrible MSU teams. Also in my time as a Michigan fan, Michigan has had 2 Heisman trophy winners and a national championship. Remind me again how many MSU has had. I don't think that the Sugar Bowl win was that impressive, and I think MSU deserved to go to a BCS game over Michigan because, let's face it, MSU beat Michigan and played for the B1G championship. I don't think that any football fan with half a brain in their skull REALLY thinks that UofM deserved that bowl game more than MSU. Keep pointing out obvious things like that because we haven't heard them 100 times before. We know Denard can't throw, we know MSU beat UofM the last 4 years, but thank you kind sir for beating that dead horse. Open up your MSU course catalog and look for a class called how to be humble 101, and enroll in that class, you could learn a few things. I can't wait until Michigan starts beating you little green turds again. That is all.-46- wrote:lol at Michigan fans still thinking that a BCS bowl win over a mediocre VA Tech in a very weak ACC means anything at all. Exactly, quit trying to brag about national championships from back when they played with leather helmets and there was like 6 teams. State fans could brag about how dominant MSU was in the sixties, but nobody gives a sh*t because all that matters is now.Scottgryan wrote:Wait, I thought Devin Gardner was the Savior? I'm wanting to send to Tim Hightower. Should I send it through the Redskins address, or their camp address?

Re: NFL TTM Thread
Were only about 2 weeks away from the start of the season, so I would sent it to their stadium. I was wondering the same thing, because I want to send to Heath Miller and Brett Kiesel

Re: NFL TTM Thread
Huzzah for a whole new batch to send out
I already mentioned a bundle of Saints players (Lance Moore, Chris Ivory, Roman Harper, and former Saint/Texan Billy Miller), but I'm also sending out to the following:
Steve Slaton
Arian Foster
Owen Daniels
Brian Cushing
and Marshawn Lynch.
Hopefully, I'll get some successes. If not, oh well, it's still fun.
