My Morgan Freeman Success.. Help?

Unread post by ScottishDan »

On the 10th of August I sent 2 photos, LOR and SASE to Morgan to his home address in Mississippi and on the 29th I received back my 2 photos signed! I know it has been said that he sends sec because of his hand problem but I have to ask. Surely if he received the letter to his home (which was very hard to find) it would be easier for him to sit down and sign as there was no rush? Also he lives in a different state from where his management in the databases are from and it only took 19 days and it took 6 days to get back to me according to the postmark so it possibly only took 10 days.. Anyway I would like people's opinions! 8)

Sorry to say this, but Freeman's TTM/VV that were received after August 2008 are all sec.

His left hand and arm are still paralyzed. Last month I met Freeman again when he arrived from Paris to spend a few days off in my city and I spent around 15 minutes with him at the train station when he arrived. Though he was super friendly as usual and very talkative he once again explained that he doesn't sign anymore due to his paralyzed arm & hand. There were no collectors around, just his assistant and me guiding them to their hotel, so he could've easily signed if it was only possible. But he even needed help to get his backpack off his back and his left arm is hanging limp from his body. When we said goodbye he made sure his assistant gave me a 11x14" portrait of him (unsigned of course) to thank me for my assiatance and apologized again for not being able to sign anymore.

Hope that answers your question and concerns about your TTM/VV. :)

Yeah I figured that would be the case. Just thought I'd ask to make sure. That's a cool story though! 8)
