Yes, because you're so sophisticated that you completely ignore logic and use the word "wanna".mannyj wrote:I don't wanna waste my time with a kid like you. What a childish statement.MW1221 wrote:Great response! Oh except for that one sentence which didn't actually respond to any logical thought that I posted above.. Oh, wait.. That was the whole thing... Hm..mannyj wrote:I think some of you take collecting autographs too far until you don't care about others anymore.
I've said it before, and I'll say it again, it must be nice to not have to worry about intellect.

Take my suggestion if you may. If you have a chance to go to college, take a Critical Thinking class. It is a good class that may help you to argue more reasonable and relevant. It also talks about morality.MW1221 wrote: Yes, because you're so sophisticated that you completely ignore logic and use the word "wanna".

I can think very critically. The facts are as follows.mannyj wrote:Take my suggestion if you may. If you have a chance to go to college, take a Critical Thinking class. You made an analogy equivalent to claiming that OP forced Mr. Garner to sign for the OP, when in fact, the OP did no such thing. Mr. Garner chose to sign for the OP, and there's no way that you can get "force" from that.
I stated that. You replied with something that in no way accounted for that response and again claimed that the OP didn't care about Mr. Garner.
I stated that. You wrote back claiming that you're too sophisticated to waste your time with me.
I pointed out that you feel that way and yet use the word "wanna". You, again, ignored everything I said, and replied to nothing.
Re: James Garner Success
Lol Picking a single word to argue won't make it relevant. Well, good luck anyway. Hope you do better in real life than that on this website.

What single word did I argue?mannyj wrote:Lol Picking a single word to argue won't make it relevant. Well, good luck anyway. Hope you do better in real life than that on this website.
But you are right, picking a single word to argue won't make it relevant. So maybe you should go back through and edit your posts so you're actually responding to what's written instead of writing random things about what's written.
But oh, wait, you have no argument based in fact whatsoever, so you can't actually do that..

Re: James Garner Success
You make no sense whatsoever. No one forces any celebrity to sign fan mail. That is THEIR choice. Mr. Garner obviously has someone to sort his mail for him, obviously they pass along the requests as I believe he wants to sign as long as he is able. He has always been a very kind man. No one MAKES anyone sign autographs. I think you need to go back and get a refund for your Critical Thinking class in college because obviously they didn't get the points across to you.mannyj wrote:The issue is not about the autograph is authentic or matched, or he should just not sign or whatsoever. The issue is you people are bothering a person who is in poor health. Think about your grandparents who may have some kind of health problem that prevents them to do physical activities. And you force them to sit on a table to sign for some some people who call themselves 'fans,' but watched only a couple of his movies.

Re: James Garner Success
Look the man is VERY ill, he probably doesn't see his mail. If i was the son or PA to a Celebrity whom was as sick as he is i wouldn't give him any Autograph Reqsts. If you were a "True" fan you would respect his privacy whilst he is ill. Have you not read the papers how ill he is, he is a Nr total Recluse, Wheel chaired the last think a very sick person wants 2 do is sign Autographs.

Re: James Garner Success
Simon, could you please share a few links to these accusations you're making (recluse, wheel-chair bound, etc)? I don't read tabloids so that may be where you're getting this information. You're right, he may not see the letters, but he does see the items people send to autograph as they come back with authentic signatures. You're missing the point, like the other poster was. No one forces celebrities to sign their fan mail. They aren't holding a gun to his head making him sign. So chill out. If people want to write, they'll write.Simon wrote:Look the man is VERY ill, he probably doesn't see his mail. Firstly it was in a issue of the National enquirer this Year. Secondly how do u no he see's the autograph reqsts and they are Authentic. Ive been in this game nearly 30yrs and i believe that unless you see the celebrity sign the autograph in front of you then you can never say its Authentic.

Re: James Garner Success
You trust the National Enquirer as a "source?" Hah. That's one of the trashiest tabs in the business. They've been selling their rag full of fake stories for years. And true...let me rephrase it, they look like the same sig he's been sending out for at least the past 15+ years so they are either authentic or the same sec he's been using for years. ;)Simon wrote:Firstly it was in a issue of the National enquirer this Year.
