Stamp Question

Hello:

I have a weird question.

Has anyone every thought of just enclosing an unused stamp instead of enclosing a SASE, since most non-sport celebrities use their own envelopes and pictures, etc.?

Just a random thought.

I might have done that once, but normally I always send a SASE (or at least a SAE). If I don't send a photo, I send a large SASE so whatever size photo they have will fit in it but if I provide the photo, I just make sure my envelope will fit it (and it saves on postage too).

In my experience, sometimes the person will provide the envelope but I usually prefer to send my own to make it more convenient for them.
