Jeff Hardy might be close in some markets, but Hogan's still the measuring stick.
Once you've met Hogan once or twice that luster disappears and it's like meeting any talent from yesteryear though, hence why TNA has seen a slow decline in the turn outs for Fan Interaction since 2010. His first true TNA signing and there was easily 800-1000 people there for the 'Main Event Session,' and as we saw this year that number was closer to the 300-600.

Part of that can be attributed to TNA not offering anything new in the way of major names, but there's only so many times that they can play the 'Meet Hulk Hogan for an extra 'X' amount of dollars' card.
I attribute the downfall to the lack of talent turnover than I would Hogan being a "Main Event" guest three times a year or so.

Plus, TNA has flooded the market with autograph opportunities for all of its top stars that many times are free.

Why would the casual fan pay for sigs and photos with RVD and Jeff Hardy when they can go to their local DirectAuto and get them for free?

Or they can spend just $50 to get a backstage pass plus the cheap ticket price to meet Hardy, Angle and the entire card for any house show.

TNA's biggest positive in terms of house shows (autographs and accessibility of talent) can turn out to be one of its biggest negatives in some aspects.

The oversaturation of markets they do well in, also, doesn't help the company's prospects of drawing fans from all over the country to its Interaction events.

Why go to say Dallas for Slammiversary when you can stay in some portions of the country and see TNA come through three or four times a year?

There's a group of people on the internet (not talking about this board) that just hate Hogan. They refuse to acknowledge what he's done or what he can still do. Anything he can be a scapegoat for he will be.

And no, he doesn't sign through the mail.

Certainly that's your opinion, but it appears that many fans believe he is worth that much, especially in areas where TNA hasn't held a Pay-Per-View and offered the Hulkster at an Interaction.

The report I read is that Hogan signed from about 2 p.m. until 6:30 p.m. That's an incredibly long session. Thus, your opinion is unvalidated by the masses.

Sometimes... I feel like Damien Sandow lurking around these parts and enlightening so many.[/quote]

Agreed. He's also THE MOST POPULAR WRESTLER EVER!!!!!
When he was here a couple years ago, he was charging around $100 for autos. however, what most people didn't know is that you paid for one auto and he usually signed 2 or 3 items for you for the one price. So, $150 for 3 Hogan autos is pretty damn good.

was out of town for a week plus and got a few successes when I arrived home. First is Teddy Long, sent a topps platinum card and received it back signed. Address is posted in thread already.

Second success is from former Legacy member Cody Rhodes. Sent a Topps Champions card and received it back signed.

I'll be adding CM Punk this weekend on the Wrestlemania 8x10 at the Wizard World Event in Ohio.

Poor Cody... He'll be chunking mail in a matter of days.

Would like to see a scan of the supposed signed photo, though. Could've been someone that just wanted to screw with you. Never did see a scan of the Stone Cold sigs you said you got.
