are you supposed to send a letter asking for an autograph

Unread post by ks7800 »

I have sent a photo once before for an autograph I got it back with the signature but I don't remember if I sent a letter or not...so my question is when you want an autograph are you supposed to send a letter asking for it or when they open the envelope and see the photo do they just know to sign it

Well; it's a bit rude to put a photo in an envelope and just expect them to sign it.
You'll get a terrible success rate from your requests without LORs. Look at it from the celebrities point of view: if you don't put the effort in to write a letter, why should they put the effort in to sign a piece of paper for you?

Always send a LOR with postal mail as a rule of thumb.

To think people wonder why we think this forum is full of idiots.

Take a bow, that was quite a defence.

Congrats, I do believe you just earned yourself a removal from the forum, language like that really isn't tolerated here, or anywhere in society. This of course is presuming your IQ is above single figures and you understand the concept of appropriate behaviour.

yeah honestly you are probably right thats the way things work now the person who starts something gets a free pass and the person that gets insulted gets blamed for it all when they say something back...things like that are why the world is in the shape that it is in...oh well
