i agree with that as sometimes in the forum when some is excited they want to put them down by saying its fake which i dont think is fair to that person especially within a few minutes of posting
i had a lea michele success and was told it was fake cos i wouldnt give out the email address, i think some people need to be more respectful to the person who had the success as they may not wish to know its fake or sec.

Then with all due respect, they're idiots. There's a difference between jealous posters telling you something is fake because you won't give the address, and posters believing fakes are real. Also, it's not about putting people down, it's about sharing experience... what's the point in having a forum full of "check this fake signature I got, but I am pretending it's real"... how does that help?
Again, James politely pointed out to two posters the doubts over these items, one took it well, the other went off in a tizz because they didn't want to believe it. Ultimately, if you don't want to have doubts cast on your successes, keep them to yourself, don't post them on the internet and continue in your own little fantasy world.

As an athletics autograph expert, I've only ever said something to be fake twice; this post and the other Mo Farah success. I really don't get the big deal, and I certainly don't get why people think I'm in the wrong to point out a fake.
But I receive a reply like this:
Sadly it costs too much to send an autograph out to China. If you would like an autograph please send a stamped address envelope with the correct stamps to go back to China and Ill get this to you.

Honestly? I would wait, now is not the time to try and get Mo TTM, once the hype around London2012 has died down I would give it a go then.
Indeed, I've already consigned myself to the fact that my Mo sig will not be authentic.
I'm going to fire a letter off to his Oregon training base before the start of next years Athletics season.
If that fails maybe a second email in the first half of 2013.
and if that fails... I'm going to wait in the bushes outside his house.
