King of Queens Signed Script

Unread post by MrDubbs »

I picked this up, and was wondering if the autographs were real? I've tried searching for comparisons, but have found nothing.

Thanks for your time

Now Im no expert at all but Kevin Id say no. Jerry shows a little promise so maybe and leah looks closest of all but still a maybe. know that aint much help but type in known signature of the 3 one at a time a check for yourself if you want to. Kevins dont even look close.Leahs is closer and Jerrys has a little similaritys but not real close. So if 2 arent rreally close it would REALLYmake me doubt LEAH would of signed and NOTthe other 2. Sorry cant be more help. But try KNOWN SIGNATURES OF and compare. good luck.

I've done that, I can't seem to find any good examples to use. What I find appear to be rushed signatures.

THat's the one I found that I think has similarities in the Jame's signature

The formation of the last name, appears to be the same in this auction

Okay,

I think I may have some proof that this is real now (hopefully)

I found this auction that's for a signed script reprint

http://www.ebay.com/itm/The-King-Of-Que ... 3ccb5fe838

If you look at the signatures, they are very similar to the ones on mine, but are still different.

For Example:

Look at Kevin Jame's signature on each. The "e" in Kevin is touching the "K" on the reprint, but it's not on mine. The tail of the "N" in the reprint goes into James and touches the "A" where as mine goes into the J but doesn't touch. Also the dot for the "I" in Kevin is located different

Now to Leah Remini's Signature. The way what I assume is a curseve "L" is formed in the beginning of her name, the way the "R" has the point on it that twists. The way the first name has the LALI look to it in both. And then the placement of the dots for the "i"

Then for Jerry Stiller's signature there are similarities as well. The way the J is formed and the way he basically scribbles till the "y" which has the "7" look to it in both signatures. To the start of the last name with the extra lip to the top of the "S" and the way his "T" is tilted and the bottom of the "I" sits under the "T" then the r has similar curves to it

Basically the same formations are there, the signatures aren't exact (which in this case is a good thing) so I have reason to believe that this is real based on the formations, and the way the letters are

Anyone have any thoughts to this?

I may be "happy" as you put it, but I'd rather be extactic about it. KOQ is my all time favorite show, and this is a dream to own. I'm just trying to find some reassurance as to the authenticity; that's why I'm looking for other opinions. So I know I"m not one sided on this, being that I'm bias since I own it.
