photos for autographs

Unread post by cody1597 »

I was wondering where I am supposed to get photos for autographs. I don't really have any shops that sell photos and it's illegal to print photos of celebrities at Walmart because of copyright issues. I've tried getting pictures from google, yahoo, etc. but when I print them out, they are very pixelated. Yes, I have done the thing where I only look for the larger pictures, but they are still very pixelated. If anyone could answer my question it would be much appreciated!

I have had a lot of success with google images.
search under the celebrity name and look for photos over 2MB in size.
Than print them your self or take them to a fedex store - most fed ex stores have great quality do-it-your self photo printers.
good hunting.

I have printed hundreds of celeb photos from google with no pixel problems so you just have to choose the right pictures and if you are using 8x10 size photo paper try switching to 5x7 because the smaller the picture the clearer it will be and 5x7 is still large enough for autographs. I print all my own photos with a home photo printer and i use 4x6 and 5x7 paper. As far as what the person said about not sending photos and asking for them that will work sometimes but lessens your chances of getting something back and if you send to venues you need to send your own photos. If you plan on printing alot of pics and want to use quality paper and print any picture you want i would suggest investing in a canon photo printer because mine was only 50 dollars and it prints out beautiful photos.

Oh I agree with Johnnie . Sending a photo might make your chances better, Im just saying you dont HAVE to send a picture to get an autographed picture back.

I hardly ever send photos either.

Ive had loads back to me where the star provided the photo.

ive got 100+ EastEnders autographs which Provide Castcards for the star to sign.
Brandi and Jarrod off storage wars
Stefanie Scott
Debby Ryan
Jessie J
Cameron Boyce
Matthew Lewis (i provided a picture but he sent mine back signed plus an extra one)
Chris Rankin
to name a few

When i started on Harry Potter autographs i bought a few postcard books and im going to send postcards as my pictures for HP stars

As said print them off google or from fedex

Yeah some stars are known to send stuff but they usually arent the hard to get autographs i want. I like to try to get the harder to get autographs that you can usually only get VV which requires sending something for them to sign.

Again I agree with johnnie if your going to try vv you should send a photo. but for just for getting regular ttm autographs you dont need to send a photo. Unless you want a certain picture of that person signed. Also all over this forum theres people saying they sent photos they wanted signed and instead got back what the person wanted to send and didnt get the photo they sent to the star back.
