It doesnt matter who you vote for. All politicians lie. They go around and feed everyone a load of bull. It is up to you to decide whos bull you want to believe. Most things from either party ever come true. But we are all dumb so I guess that is why this all happens. The problem is people want change fast and in a hurry and never look at the big picture. Everyone who voted for bush never would of guessed he would put us into a pretty bad recession. But it happened and I still hear people say he was the greatest president. Obama promised change. Did he change anything? Not everything but he did slowly create some jobs and got us a little bit out of the recession. Did he make mistakes? he sure did.....but doesnt every politician?

You contradict what you say. You say you believe people should earn what they get but then ask the question "is their fault they get turned down because they don't have the right set of skills or educational degree?"

The answer to this question is YES, it is their fault. People make their own bed. If they do a crappy job making it, then they deserve to sleep in a messy bed.

People shouldn't live on welfare, but they should get some assistance to get them back on their feet in certain circumstances.

I will never accept a welfare check or free phone, that's just who I am. I have always and WILL always earn what I get. Its called pulling your own weight in society. If you have nothing to offer society except collect checks off from people who do all the work then I do not feel sorry if the Government, like GOV Snyder did her in Michigan and CUT YOU OFF.

The problem is young people are raised up in welfare, so they think that is a normal way of life and I'm glad it won't happen here in this state again until some Liberal comes into power and changes it

Actually I never contradicted anything. If you reread my statement instead of picking the phrase you wanted I said and I quote

And you said it is there fault. But what about the people who cant afford a decent education because they are at or below the poverty line and struggle everyday. What you should have said are the ones who abuse the system are pathetic because then i would have agreed with you. But I myself who was on welfare at one time took some offense to your statement. Because in no way shape or form do I consider my self pathetic. my family and I hit a rough patch in life and couldnt make ends meet. It took some time but we recovered. Now do you see what I am saying? As stated above as a democrat I do feel you need to work and earn your keep but there are people who just have a bad break in life that honestly need help. Well that makes more sense. I didn't mean to categorize everbody on welfare like they were all the same, they aren't. I do think the 4 year MAX the GOV instituted is enough time and I agree with it but there are many (mainly the pathetic morons who are lazy and want to live on welfare... and believe me I would bet a lot of money that in this state, most of the people on welfare/food stamps/medicade abouse it at least to a certain degree) who abuse the system so the system definately needed reform.

Most liberals (such as obama) are against welfare reforms which is why I do not support them. If a system is abused, like it or not... right or wrong it must be reformed because I do not want to work so some bum can buy lotto tickets and eat prime rib twice a week.

When Bush left office we were losing 800,000 jobs a MONTH. Alot if not most didnt do anything wrong. In all 9,000,000 jobs were lost that hurt regular people Dems and Reps. We have got back 5 and a half million. That still leaves alot of people NEEDING help. This is AMERICA we help those in need. Those that abuse the system is hurting those that DO need help. If your rich I would guess that wouldnt pertain to you. Radical trash that blame women, hispanic, and the people that live paycheck to pay paycheck school teachers , cops, firefighters, are the problem is just WRONG. If you think your right why all the NEW rules about voting ? If you cant win fairly then CHEAT? i AGREE abusers are wrong but most people needing help are NOT abusers or cheaters. America lost jobs because of greed. Not because of Bush
Ross Perot (although a nerd) predicted this economical collapse two decades ago.
Most jobs lost were union jobs. A lot of auto workers in this country got paid six figure incomes to do little.
Instead of getting paycuts, their unions made them stop work. When that happens, the company has no choice
but to go to radical measures like leave the country. Obvious for the car companies this didn't happen, but it did
happen to a lot. Instead of taking the necessary cuts because of the downing economy/housing market, the unions told
the companies to FU so in return the companies told the unions and workers to FU and left.

Blame Clinton and NAFTA for that. Globalization has hurt America because of its self inflicted greed

And if thats not enough, I live in Michigan which is one of the worst states to live in. I see help wanted signs all over the place
