Those saying it's not authentic? It is. play.com don't sell 'fake' signed items. Do you really think they'd risk their reputation? No. play.com are a great site to purchase signed items from, in fact any item. Some artists even post pictures of themselves signing their items for the site and newsletters are sent out promoting their signed items for the site.
Those who think this signed album is not authentic obviously have no clue about authenticity.

saying that play.com are selling fakes would be the same as saying that in america when walmart sells signed merch on theri site it is fake, they are big name brands and would not risk their reputation and only sell authentic stuff

I'm going to chip in on this. Play.com are the most reputable company here in the uk. Anyone suggesting these are fake is just ridiculous. They get exclusive licenses to sell exclusive products, for instance signed books,CDs,and exclusive BluRay steel books.
How they do it? They pay a celeb to sign copies which will only be sold exclusively through the website they own. At a base price of £9.99 or £8.99. This is for CDs. Putting the CDs up for pre order ensures they sell out before the release date, generating money for the artist, and a higher promotional gain in charts and publicity for the album. Play.com will pay a decent amount for each one, knowing the price will intise the buyer into spending, and will generate more traffic to the website and other products they sell.
Its smart buying and selling that makes play.com arguably the biggest online site in Britain and Europe (they are part of the Ratuken group who own priceminister etc)
So yes, you idiots who doubt a company who sell millions of good daily, really must take a look at yourselves and think "am I really that stupid?"
