Top 10 Best & Worst signers TTM/VV for 2012...

Hello everyone,

I was interested to hear what other FM users thought were there personal top 10 Best and Worst signers TTM/VV for this year, 2012. My list is seen below:

Top 10: Best through the Mail.
10.) Emma Thompson (She may take a while but this two time Oscar winner is consistently good about replying back eventually).
9.) Christopher Plummer (Oscar winner has been consistent in replying to fans).
8.) Kelly Clarkson (Unlike many of her peers, this two time Grammy award winner still pre-signs numerous autographs for her fans. Truly, a class act from a very successful and talented artist).
7.) Jane Fonda (This two time Oscar winner is on top of her game as far as replying to fans. She sends her own 8X10 or will sign one picture that you send her. A true legend).
6.) Geoffrey Rush (Oscar winner hasn't let fame go to his head and remains to sign for fans. Occasionally, little doodles and etc, as well which is a nice bonus).
5.) Dakota Fanning (She's always been good to her fans since she was 10 years old to current. A bright future ahead of her, indeed).
4.) Carol Burnett (She used to send pre-prints but now is signing authentically for many fans).
3.) Ed Asner (Funny man who takes time to write kind inscriptions to fans).
2.) Amanda Seyfried (This young, successful actress began signing TTM a couple years ago and still remains to do so).
1.) Lauren Bacall (She may be up there in age, but that doesn't stop this actress from speedily replying to her fans).

Honorable mentions: Martin Sheen, Whoopi Goldberg, Maggie Smith, Betty White, Chad Michael Murray, Sophia Loren, Susan Sarandon, Kathleen Turner, Judi Dench, Ben KIngley, Brigitte Bardot, Jay Leno, Martina McBride, Mark Wahlberg, etc…

Top 10: Worst Through the mail.
10.) Jennifer Lawrence (I hate to add her to the list but her signing habits have been extremely inconsistent and confusing. She did sign VV “The Hunger Games” as well as TTM, around the same time. Unfortunately, a little after THG was released, authentic were scarce and now appear to be impossible to receive. I’ve heard she’s become a harder one to get in-person, too).
9.) John Cleese (He used to send authentic but lately he has been sending pre-prints).
8.) Rowan Atkinson (I think I've seen one authentic autograph from him in all the years (approximately seven years) I've collected. However, he does send pre-prints, which is better than nothing).
7.) Morgan Freeman (I’ve found him to be a tricky one to get in authentic form for quite some time).
6.)Carrie Underwood (She autographed pre-signed photos right after she won American Idol back in 2005 but stopped the following year. Her manager sent out pre-printed fan club post cards briefly. Eventually, she stopped signing TTM and I have never seen a successful autograph from her since 2005-2006).
5.) Arnold Schwarzenegger (Fans commonly receive preprints. His asking price for an autograph/photo op is absurd for Arnold Classic).
4.) Keira Knightley (She hasn’t signed authentically through the mail since the first “Pirates of the Caribbean” was released in theaters.
3.) Cameron Diaz (It is common knowledge for fanmail collectors to know Cameron does not particularly care to sign autographs. Her TTM’s do not look like her in-person signatures that people have been able to obtain. I’ve heard the only way to receive her autograph is if she is being photographed at a public event).
2.) Ringo Starr (He added a video on YouTube that he doesn't sign anymore). http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eAU0l7325w0
1.) William Shatner (If someone does receive something in the mail, it’s either a pre-print or a fan club post card. He is notoriously a terrible signer, even in-person).


Honorable mention: Shirley Temple-Black (Stopped signing TTTM), Robert Pattinson, Sarah Jessica Parker (Sec), Matthew Broderick (Sec), Sally Field (Sec), Carrie Fisher, Hulk Hogan (Sec), Ashley Judd (Sec), Barbra Streisand (Sec), Kristin Davis (Sec: TTM & VV), Clint Eastwood (Sec), Shia LaBeouf (inconsistent), Robin Williams (inconsistent), Doris Day (Sec), John Travolta (Sec), Al Pacino (Sec), Tina Turner (Sec), etc…

Top 10: Best Via-Venue.
10.) Russell Crowe
9.) Uma Thurman
8.) Cate Blanchett
7.) Jesse Eisenburg
6.) Evangeline Lilly

that was a good list there, but I'd add John Lithgow, Alan Rickman, Jerry O'Connell, Christian Bale, Danny DeVito, Zach Braff , Patrick Stewart, Angela Lansbury and Tony Shalhoub to my list of best signers VV

and normall TTM would be Kevin Spacey, Jon Voight, Jason Alexander, Slash, Aaron Eckhart, Ian McKellen, James Earl Jones, Jackie Chan, Brad Paisley and Kevin Nealon.

worst TTM & VV:

Jack Black, Antonio Banderas, Tom Hanks, Sean Connery, Harrison Ford, Emma Watson, David Arquette, Steve Martin, Gary Oldman, Jack Nicholson who's in top of my head
