If it's a thick, gold version Rd4, ME, or Rd2 Topps you're mailing TTM, your mailman didn't bend the card.Wweguy17 wrote:Well the one he bend was one of those thick round 4 topps cards so i didnt think i would need a stabilizer...oh well live and learn.Y2jones wrote:I always include a thick card stock "stabalizer" with my items to prevent folding & I write DO NO FOLD on the outside of the envelope. Sigs came out beautifully though.
It's the mail sorter rollers on the machine that does that to those cards.
Same goes for when you TTM relic cards to get signed.
They come back in small & #10 SASE looking like Cowboy Cerrone had the card in the back pocket of his Wrangler jeans while riding a bull! haha
The only way they don't come back creased is if they are put in the SASE the right way. (the short ways up/down instead of the long ways left/right)
That's why I've been taping my Topps KO cards to a piece of folder I've cut to fit in #10 SASE to be sure they roll through the sorter pointing up/down.
BTW, Is the Wand Topps Rd4 gold available for trade?
I'm interested in trading you for another signed Wand I have if my Rd4 base doesn't show up today.
