As a final thought on the issue, I realised an esteemed FORMER member had set the "100" constructive posts rule some time ago. I'm also aware that that poster is no longer is on FM for a reason. Regardless of this, it doesn't give other users the right to make what are essentially new rules up to suit themselves and to draw attention.

I'll repeat again, it can border on libel, it can cause problems, and it's open to abuse on so many levels. There's nothing wrong with a "sales/trades feedback" section, which can provide evidence along the way, and resolve any issues, but a random list which is decided ad hoc does not work. Even more so when the poster behind it refuses to ever listen to any point of view other than their own. And this is ALL before you get to the multiple accounts which are held on this site by people.

Fanmail.biz used to be about Fanmail, now it's about attention seekers, spammers, kids who don't know better and a complete lack of staff.

I'll say it once more... if you're daft enough to trade with someone you don't know, on a random forum (and hand them money AND your home address) then you pretty much deserve what you get.

I agree with dancingirl1. I don't want to become scammed out of my money or autographs. If someone is known to do so, then I want to know about it. I think this topic is more helpful than it is harmful, but that is my personal opinion. I've never been afraid to point someone out for something wrong they've done that others need to be aware of, which is probably another reason as to why I agree with this. And I don't think anyone who trades or buys is daft. There are people on this forum that will never have the opportunity to meet some of these celebrities; the ones that it is their only way to get their authentic autograph. And some, that for some reason or another, can't get an autograph they've always wanted. There is no need to call people daft for selling, buying, and trading with people they don't know. It's a part of everyday life, when you really look at it. That is all I have to say about this topic.
