Honey, I BEG you to cover your address. There are crazy people in the World who spend 12 hours a day, 7 days a week online looking for information like this to exploit. It's not that hard to stalk, kidnap, rape or kill a stranger with info like this. We all think it will never happen to us, and it probably won't, but posting your address on a public forum is ten more steps in the wrong direction towards making that happen. I haven't posted on this forum in a LONG time, but I felt strongly enough about your safety to login and post. Do the right thing.

I don't really get what the big deal is...it's a name and address. Pick up a phone book. It's full of names and addresses. No one does anything with them unless they really want to get to know the person for some reason, and no offense to the OP, but she's hardly an Internet celebrity--she is an occasional contributor to a little-known autograph forum. I know it's generally inadvisable to put personal information online, and I myself probably would have blacked out the address, but I honestly don't think it's worth all this drama.

I have been nice about it telling people NICELY to stop bugging me about it, but this is where I draw the line.
I honestly am not going to take it down, if an admin wants me to, I will, but other than that its not anyone's business what I do with MY address.
I have been posting it on here all along, and no one has said anything up until now!
So people let it go. If you want to comment about the success that's one thing, but I have heard enough about the address on the envelope to last me a lifetime.

Good Success. Channing was just in my hometown of washington pa filming his new movie foxcatcher. He filmed in my little brothers school. Everyday for about 2 weeks I got pictures of him in the high school gym filming. On the last day he was going to his ride and my brother yelled hey to him and channing waved to him and my brother got the photo. He never got an autograph but it was still cool.

It's not always "stalkers" either. But people can add your address to stuff without your consent. This is why people get a ton of weird shit in the mail. Junk mail ETC.
