HELP: Where to Find HD Photos on Internet for Printing??!

Unread post by eg9517 »

I was hoping to get some nice glossy 4 x 6 images printed off google to send to various people but I have heard that they come out blurry and/or pixelated looking. I was going to get the images off Google images. Has anyone experienced this with images off google? And is there a website where I can load them onto my memory stick to be printed clearly and HD looking?

Thank you in advance!

http://www.hqdiesel.com/gallery/index.php I get my photos from this website and they print out great. If you want some good images from google, go to search tools and select size and press large.

--Type the person's name you're searching for in Google Images. Press enter or click the magnifying glass.
--Under the box where you typed the person's name, there will be a row of options (Web, Images, Maps, Shopping, More, Search tools). Click on "Search tools".
--Another row of options will appear (Any Time, Any Results, Any Size, Any Color, Any Type, Standard View).
--Click "Any Size". A dropdown menu will appear.
--Select "Large".

All of the images on your screen are now large resolution, which, when printed, should turn out nice and clear for photos up to 8" x 10". (4" x 6" should be fine, too).

Hope this helps!

best thing to try is either a specialist website or just go to google and type the actor/actress name and put hd or high resolution after it. then find one with around 2000 x 2000 resolution and click more sizes, if you can do try find ones with like 4000 x 4000 resolution and they will look good, no matter what resolution it will never look like it looks on the computer, but spend some time like me searching for high resolution ones. even 2000 x 2000 looks good enough even at 6x8 size. but i either use 7 x 5 or 6 x 4 because they look better.

you could try find some postcards which would give you the best results.

One question, when you say 2000x2000 resolution, do I find that by clicking "more sizes" after googleing the celebrity? I found one that talks about MB, is that the same as resolution?

yes click more sizes on the photo on google, try to find ones with 2000 x 2000 resolution or more and make sure you look and make sure they are hd, best bet is to make sure you can set them as your desktop background with no pixelation and when viewing zooming in a little without pixelation.

Not every picture will be high resolution on Google and especially when you need 20 high resolution images it can take time depending on the person in question.

hope this helped :D {up}
