New Fanmail.biz Users: Introduce Yourself Here!
Hi All!
I'm new here! I have a few questions. When sending out letters do you always include a picture to be signed along with a SAE?
I met Nick Lachey yesterday but I wasn't supposed to ask for an autograph - so stupid me didn't - and I'd like to mail him a letter requesting one. What do you all usually write in your letters?
When sending autograph requests it's best to include a picture for the celebrity to sign. If you don't have a photo try including an index card so in case they don't have any photos on hand, they can sign your IC. Also if you can afford it, send SASE's along with every request. At the very least include a SAE. What I generally do in letters is introduce myself and try to convey a sense that I actually know some information about who I'm writing to. Then I want to acknowledge some of their accomplishments and ask for an autograph saying that I would greatly appreciate it if they could sign the enclosed photo but if they are too busy or cannot get to it, I would always understand. Finally I close out the letter by thanking the celebrity. Try to keep letters to one page max.

I'm new too (just joined yesterday) and I was wondering where you guys usually get your photos to send out. The ones online seem too small and when you try and enlarge them they look all pixelated...

Welcome to the forums Ami and justchillin8908! I hope you both have tons of luck with autograph collecting, and have fun with it, and on the forums. If you ever have any questions just ask anyone, we're all friendly here. We won't bite that hard
