Well, I have a question for you, to show off my own "maturity stakes" as well... how would you know where the forum once was? Was it really all that different when you joined 3 months ago? Just like you, I'm new to the forums, but I'm not acting like I've been a member here for years upon years when I haven't...
I don't care that a second Secretarial "success" was posted and neither should you. This hobby is for fun and that's exactly what Nessie seems to be having, so please just lay off and return to your business. Nobody forced you to comment... that was your own choice. If you want somebody to truly get the picture that we don't care about "fake successes", as you put it, then the best thing to do is just ignore it. Then, when nobody has bothered commenting, the poster would soon get the picture! ;-)
He can act like he's been on here for years because he has, so don't be fooled.
Pointing out a fake is not annoying or is it a form of bullying. The truth is to help others from requesting rubbish
through the mail. Münchausen, do you have fun eating fake food?

Well, I've been collecting through this website since I was 10 years old, back in 2002. Does that mean I was a member for 11 years and know everything that there is to know? Nope.

Here's what confuses me about your comments, bear with me a moment.

You weren't to know I have been a member here since January 2005, and have changed my username so that's fair enough. I do, however, not understand why you're objecting to maintaining levels of integrity in the forum. There are LOADS of posts on here which don't get comments, this doesn't indicate that an item is real or not. The only that allows members (including the person who got the response) is it being proven that this is not the case. I don't claim to know everything, and indeed frequently defer to others, especially when it comes to US signatures, but due to the nature of my collecting I do have a pretty sound knowledge of what's going on.

Fake responses lead to members losing out, wasting time and money, potentially trading with unscrupulous members because they don't know better.

Of course, what really impresses me is that you've been on this forum since 2002, given that the Admin is member no1, and his join date is in 2004.

This is hilarious. Is the Doctor in the house? Has he time travelled back to visit the forum before it even began? This is blowing my mind.

Well, I don't know what to tell you. Maybe the forum came after the creation of the actual website. If you don't believe me, I could show you my authentic Ringo Starr I got through this website when I was 11-12 years old. As you should know, he hasn't signed fan mail for years now, due to arthritis and carpal-tunnel syndrome. Though, I could not care less of whether you do believe me or not, since you missed my whole point of "seniority" being pointless. Each member has the same worth around here, so members that have been here since 2005 have no more importance than somebody that just came on. Not wanting people to waste their time and money is admirable, but only if one did it admirably... not like a bully. Rather than saying: "Fake! I can't believe you would post this once, let alone twice. Don't you know you're wasting everyone's time?", go for: "Unfortunately, that looks like a secretarial to me. Sorry that happened to you, man. Better luck next time! :)". See the difference? First one is just outright being mean and the second is actually being helpful and supportive.

Okay, here's the thing. It's not about seniority, I simply stated that some members were trying to bring the forum back to the quality it was previously, you're the one who kicked off about dates and cited impossible dates. As one of the early members of this forum, I do actually remember when it was a good forum (actually, anything up to a few years ago was pretty good before the Bieber/Lovato crew started flooding it with fakes and crap). The OP posted this "success" after already being told the first one they got days before was fake (not by me I add), and even then my first comment was firmly tongue in cheek, and I wasn't the first to point it out to them. You will, however, forgive me for not taking your comments too seriously, especially when the evidence you provide to prove you've been on board since before the forum was created is an autograph which could have been collected any time up to 2008. I do like how you're putting words into my mouth, I don't believe I actually used the phrase you claim I did. If I posted the same fake twice in a row, I'd expect flack. If I post any fake, I'd expect to be told as it could have got past me. Thanks for the lesson on manners though, it's appreciated from someone who's fresh to the forum, has done nothing to help it over the years and reckons they can snipe about it. I especially love it when kids try to act more mature than they are and fail spectacularly. You could have saved us all a lot of bother by either checking your facts first, or indeed not spouting some spectacularly misinformed information.

I'm always with you until about 2/3 through every single one of your posts, when you start insulting me again. I'm 21, so I would consider myself young, but definitely not a "kid". So what you're saying makes no sense... unless you're, like, 70 years old in which everyone seems like a kid to you. If you are somehow older than me, which I doubt highly, your maturity level is that of an 8 year old. This will be my last response to you.

i could not help but laugh at this james. i am just sitting back with a bag of popcorn watching this. heck i know i have not been on here very long. i have determined that the issues that the server has been having issues, cause of SQL code that has been wrote into the server. hopefully the server could get repaired and up to speed like it was. it is that or it needs more server space :). i am just going on what i know of computers with my degree. i don't get all fired up on this site cause it is not worth getting all stressed over. unless you see these people in person every day why let it get to you. people know what they got and being it is a free forum they have freedom of speech. i just brush it off and if you want to take and be happy with what you got then it is what it is. hopefully the OP can get their own authentic eventually, and can say that they have an authentic autograph.
