No real new news, however through research on my own, I have found out two very, very valuable items of interest. First of all, cold medicines do affect these tests, which no one warned me of, and which I had been taking the entire week up to the morning of the test. Also, the biggest symptom of hyperthyroidism is a racing heartbeat...up to 200 beats per minute. I've been checking mine and it's stayed the same at it's 90 beats per minute. So I still have no symptoms and it's VERY likely that the test was thrown by the cold medicine.
In other research I've found that since my levels are so slightly off and I have no symptoms, that I would be considered "subclinical hyperthyroidism" if in fact I do have it. The course is just monitoring and possibly medicine for 12-18 months during which 80% of everyone will have permanent remission for the rest of their lives. So I worry much, much less about this and I'm still very anxious to find out for sure what's going on, which may very well be impossible since my levels are thrown off by pregnancy as well
