Should I be worried?

Unread post by irish_seeker »

So I sent about 20 letters about 5 months ago to some very famous and some not so well known people, and I haven't revived any of them back. Should I try again or wait a few more months?

It may depend on the individual and what their reputation for signing is. You may want to try and research each person to determine as to whether or not they have a good reputation. Also, did you include a SASE & item to be signed with each request? If not, that could factor into it as well. Collecting autographs can be very hit or miss. Sometimes you get lucky and sometimes you don't. You just have to keep trying. Good luck!
Sometimes you just have to take a chance and try the address that you have. That is part of collecting autographs through the mail. Sometimes you will have success and sometimes you won't. Their are no 100% locks for success.

Well being that these some people you sent to are "very famous" , no. Don't be worried.
They are just busy and have a lot to do. RELAX, get a secondary hobby and wait until they arrive.

{up} They WILL come.

Just outta curiosity who did you send to?
Britney Spears==>> 6 #1 albums. 2 diamond albums. 8 platinum albums. 400+ awards. 200M+ records sold. Britney has sold over 45 million records this decade despite only releasing three albums. Globally, Britney has more #1 singles than any other female artist except Madonna and Rihanna. "Oops!...I Did It Again" by Britney is the 5th best selling album of the 2000s decade worldwide. Britney is the only female artist to chart her first seven albums in the top two of the Billboard 200. Britney has achieved at least one #1 album in 3 different decades (90's, 00's, 10's). Britney is the first solo female artist from the 90's to reach 1 billion Spotify streams. Despite NOT even being a single, 'Tom's Diner', ft. Britney , has become Giorgio Moroders best-selling digital track. 2015 Billboard Awards ratings reached a 14-year high, with numbers peaking during Britney's performance. She IS the princess of Pop. Hi irish_seeker :)

Did you include a Self Addressed Stamped Envelope with your letter of Request?

Usually, it doubles your chance of success

This hobby definitely tests your patience!! I have over 20 LOR/SASE out right now and they've only been out since March/April. Still a killer! It's funny because I've gotten international reponse from celebs much faster than when I send to anyone in the states. Odd.....just be patient though!
Most desired: Johnny Depp, Chris Pine.

**I'm also trying to obtain signatures from the leads for Lord of the Rings, the new Star Trek Enterprise crew, Battlestar Galactica & The Avengers! If anyone has any address that can lead me to successes, it would be fantastic if you passed them on!!** :D
