I sent an SAE and a LOR with my cast cast that I got when I wrote to the Eastenders desk to Gillian Wright using Eastenders address in Database. Today I Receive a completely different envelope to the one I sent which has a BBC logo on it and I opened it. I looked at the signature and the writing on the front of the envelope and they match? I think somehow and for some reason she changed my SAE and wrote my address on her SAE and put in her signed cast card? Why Though?
The first EastEnders cast member I wrote to was June Brown and when she replied to me, she said in her letter that I shouldn't bother sending a SASE because they were provided to the cast by the BBC.
The bbc always supply their own envelope and always provide postage nice, quick success too!
Autographs Received so Far: Emeli Sande (PP), Mo Farah x2, Stacey Solomon (PP), Bernard Cribbins, 50th Anniversary Coronation Street Cast (PP) with handwritten birthday personalisation, Noel Edmonds, Carol Vorderman, Matthew Lewis x 5, Shirley Henderson x3, David Walliams and Matt Lucas double, Christina Perri, Jason Mraz, Miriam Margolyes, Bill Nighy, Judith Dench, Ella Henderson x 3, Maggie Smith, David Walliams x 3, !
Just to clarify, they don't ALWAYS provide their own envelope, it's customary to still provide an SAE to them to make things easier for the person you are writing to. In this case, it's likely that something happened to your original envelope and it was replaced, nothing strange or sinister about it ;)
PS.. Rwanda... people in glass houses and all that, not that I am saying YOU are creepy, but you know what I mean ;)
