I'm not sure how much it would cost you to send to America, but for me, I live in Canada, I usually pay $1.10 for standard and about $2 for large/over sized. If you go to the site of your postage company/mail company they should have a pricing section.
I find that when you send a letter, you have a higher success rate if you send your own picture along with the letter. Make sure you research if you have to pay for it though, as some sign for free and others charge.
When you search up, for example, Bruno Mars, the site should come up with a commercial, an address link, and a bunch of successes. The link you want to click is the one which has his name with the word address after it, and a dash with the words FanMail.biz... that's where you will find the fan mail address. The rest of the links are peoples' feedback
