Hi, I'm sorry if you don't like my opinion and of course they are variations but there are certain traits that are always there. Your signature, unfortunately, has none of them. In all my years of collecting autographs in-person I have never seen him sign like that.
I don't request autographs via the mail- I get mine in person.
Go to my website and search for Johnny Depp. There are around 20 examples of his signature listed. Variations are there but certain traits are consistent on all of them.
I don't actually have any idea what his 'auto pen' looks like but I bet it looks similar to what I have listed for sale. It would have to if it was reproducing his real signature.

And by the way: for the people who DIDN'T read my original post: all I said was "Johnny Depp Success!! (NOT an AP!)" I didn't assume that it was real or anything so for those members who are trying to 'break my spirit' about this autograph, it's okay if it turns out to be fake because I have other private addresses for him, so I'm good It may be fake...That happens in this hobby.

Not trying to 'break your spirit'. A non-authentic autograph is worthless and really should be destroyed. Wouldn't you want to know so that you can make a note of it, learn about how to recognize an authentic example and try again?

I'm not gonna assume that just because it doesn't look like the same ol' AP (which is done by a machine) that it's fake and toss it.. I don't do that. Disagree if you want and that is fine, but what I do with my items I receive isn't anyone's concern.
I mean I get it. Some members think it's fake. Okay. But I'm not gonna throw it away until I see what the authenticator says and maybe even after that I still won't toss it. Sometimes they are wrong and actually they have been wrong for me once (proven fact..) It shouldn't bother anyone that I keep whatever comes to me.
