Ragtop: It's pretty rare that guys just all the sudden "stop signing." - It's just that guys like Randy Couture who sign fanmail every day or every week make it seem like the returns are ridiculous. It's not like he said, "Hey - I'm no longer signing fanmail so don't send it."

Like the message above, now that he lost a match, he will indeed need help from the fans to get him back to where he was and will likely do a mass signing. I would expect some returns from him soon.

Some athletes do just stop signing TTM though... Royce Gracie is a prime example. He no longer will sign TTM and only will sign in person. I thought Benson did something similar since he was "The Champ", but who knows.
