If you want to think that you were being helpful, and that I only wanted one answer, go right ahead. I'm done.

A little stupid, possibly, ESPECIALLY for making this post in the first place. I asked because I KNOW of some who have sent that many, and got back, but I didn't know if it was the exception to the rule, or what. I wanted to know, and was open to whatever answers anyone had, I just didn't think they'd be so...hot. I haven't sent anything out yet, I haven't made any decisions, I was just gathering info. Sending fan mail is supposed to be fun. This whole thing just kinda sucked all the fun right out of it for me for right now. Does that make me overly sensitive? Probably. But no one likes to be hit over the head with incivility.

I'm sorry if the question was rage-inducing. It wasn't meant to be.
You got it all wrong and you know it. You were asking a question you already knew the answer to and then get mad when you hear it and now you complain about it and act like some kind of victim lol Anyone with half a brain would know sending 6 pictures to be signed at one time to the same person is being greedy but you obviously wanted to hear it was okay. Send as many as you want, Heck sent 10 if you like its your choice but don't ask for honest opinions if you cant handle the truth. I don't think anyone on this site would disagree that sending 6 photos to 1 person to be signed at once is overkill and well GREEDY. Let me answer your original question with baby gloves on that wont bother you .... Yes sending 6 photos is to many..!!! P.S. Your choice what you do and for the record I never called you greedy or immature, I said sending 6 photos will seem greedy to the person you send to and is frankly a immature thing to do.
Whoa. Why does every thread have to be drama filled on here now a days? Geez!!

To answer your question...yes, 6 is way too many to send. I mean, think about it. If you were a celeb and got a package with 6 photos what would you do? Cause I'd only send 1 back signed, but that's just me. I send 2 max and the only reason I have ever sent 2 is when I am asking them to sign one for me and one for my sister. I understand being indecisive about which photos to send, but why don't you just pick your top 2 and send those? If he doesn't reply, you'll have 4 more pics that you can send out and you won't have to re-print them. A good way to pic out the photos for me is asking the question "which photos would look the most awesome in a frame on the wall?" LOL. That's how I do it anyway. Good luck to you regardless of what you decide to do.
Most desired: Johnny Depp, Chris Pine.

**I'm also trying to obtain signatures from the leads for Lord of the Rings, the new Star Trek Enterprise crew, Battlestar Galactica & The Avengers! If anyone has any address that can lead me to successes, it would be fantastic if you passed them on!!** :D

Well, I've already decided to decrease the amount I'll send. By a lot. I usually do the same thing as you, and only send out a couple of photos at a time, at most. In fact, before I found this site, and discovered that people send more than request at a time, I never would have DREAMED of sending out more than one photo. Now that I've started doing it more often though, there are times when my brain glitches in the photo choosing process, and I'm just like, "ACK! I'll just let them decide!" LOL! But, I've made my decision on what to send (finally...I think I've actually gotten a few gray hairs with this particular process, hahaha), and it's just going to be a couple of photos. And I figure, if in the future, I get the urge to write another fan letter, or like you said, I don't hear back, I'll have others already picked out to send. It was probably a stupid question, but I only asked because, like I said before, I actually know of some who have sent out that many and they've gotten results, I don't have tons of experience with the whole thing, and I was about to tear my hair out trying to choose photos!

Thank you for being nice about it! I REALLY appreciate it!!! :)

Just my opinion but just seems like there's a lack of tact re this thread. Oh well. Moving on.
