Is that the address on his site? If so, that's the one I used as well. Took about a month.
Re: MMA Collectors
Not TTM, but I went to the Chris Weidman/Anderson Silva signing they held at the UFC Gym in NYC today.
The whole time we were on line waiting, they were claiming a strict "1 Item per person" limit. They had each of them at separate tables, and were bringing people in 10 at a time, placing 5 on each line. I've gotten Weidman a few times, so I really didn't have anything specific for him to sign, so I brought a silver UFC trainer glove. I handed Weidman the glove, chatted him up about how his house is coming along (it got destroyed in the hurricane last year). He mentioned how he's selling the house and moving to Dix Hills, which is actually only 20 minutes away from where I live. We shook hands, and he handed me a signed promo as I left the table. I tried to go back to snap a quick pic with him, but the guy "running" the signing said "either a sig or a pic, not both" so whatever.
Silva was actually really cool to everyone. When I got to him, I thanked him for coming out, and he said "No thank you for coming here to see us" which I thought was pretty cool. By think time, I figured I'd just go for broke and handed him the cardboard with the 4 cards. He had no problem signing all 4 of them. His "handler" didn't notice he was signing all 4 till he was on the last one, and kind of gave me a dirty look. Like I got away with something. He then shook my hand, and handed me a signed promo as well.
So all in all I got 2 sigs from Weidman, and FIVE from Anderson. Got to cross off another MoT for my set, and replace the cert auto's Main Event with an IP. Can't beat that!
4 hours on line to meet Weidman and Silva beats 8 hours of work!
