Thursday I got Wanderlei again.
Signed my 2 Topps cards.

Saturday I got Jon Anik back.
Signed & sent me UFC FAN EXPO promos.

So if ya need a autograph for a set but your not a fan of said fighter. What's the best way to write the lor? I have wrote a bunch of lors to fighters I wasn't a fan of and bs a lot any suggestions for a request that just states I need your auto for a set.

Facepunter: Just write it as if you are a fan. I'm not a fan of quite a few guys but I write it as if I am. I suppose it isn't necessarily telling the truth, but it doesn't hurt.

I stick with the truth. If I am not a huge fan I can still come up with something generic to write. I'll say "I am a huge MMA fan and really respect the hard work you put in. I'd love to have your autograph in my collection." I keep them short and simple.

I suppose I could have reworded what I said.
I'm along the same lines as you Chip pretty much.

I never write "You're my favorite fighter" or anything like that.

When I wrote to Matt Hughes (who I am not a fan of) - I told him I appreciated his hard work and dedication to the sport but that is about as far as I went.

Same with Josh Burkman (someone else I'm not a fan of) - I wrote something that said, congrats on winning 4 out of your last 5. Nothing about the message said I wasn't a fan.

(Burkman is now 8 out of his last 9) and I hope Steve Carl smashes him.
