FC Bayern Munich Help! US to Germany ttm ???

Unread post by rukastar »

A friend of mine is a huge fan of the Munich club [germany] and I wanted to try to help him send a ttm request for the both of us. I have a few questions, I wasn't sure if this was the best sub-directory to quite ask this. Hoping for some help! I have a lot of experience with writing to baseball players here in the states, but I'm not very familiar with sending requests abroad and especially not to a sports team that isn't baseball. We want pretty much anyone, but especially Schweinsteiger and Neuer. My first instinct would be to send to them individually. However, the other successes I've seen here make it look like you could sent multiple photos in a single envelope. Will this work, or is it best to send individually? I'm aware that most clubs only send out pp or pre-signed club cards, I'm worried we'll go through all this trouble and end up with pp or something. We'll definitely include Euro for the return postage. Is there anything we should know before trying to send?

Thank you, hope to find some answers.

if you go on their website (you may have to translate it but usually it does it automatically) it says how much to send for x ammount of signed club cards. if you mention which ones you'd really like in your letter they try to include them!

i got returns from schweinsteiger, robben and dante a few months back. ive re-sent to the club to try and get the rest of the squad too. im in the UK, so i dont know if you'll have to add extra euros to the price. couldnt hurt to send an email via the website as well.

hope this helps a bit :)

Yes, thank you for the reply. My friend and I will definitely look into this.

The euro amount is higher for "world" than the European prices, but it's not really a problem since I was planning on sending a higher amount to cover return postage anyway. At first my friend and I thought that one of us could send to four players individually for the both of us, but I see on there that the team says 1 per player per fan per season. We'll have to both send our own requests, but at least we can send a single request to the team and not to the players individually. i think it's actually cheaper that way.
