I will be taking the money about March next year so I have time to sell a few other autographs.

Highly Commendable, but don't see the point in not mentioning that until now. Also don't see why it is "probable". You should know who you are selling stuff for if it is for charity, failing to provide info like that just gives fundraisers a bad name, reflects badly on charities and of course yourself. I get that you're young, but you do need to learn this sort of thing, not least because using the words "selling for charity" means you have to do so.

All it looks is that you're getting stuff in and trying to flog it, including the Depp you were so excited about, wanted us to vote for in a competition for you, then put up for sale in the same breath.

First of all, I'm sorry about your mum, it's something no one should have to go through, believe me I have the personal experience there. That being said, no one knows that, it's your business, and no one knows unless you mention it. No idea why you think anyone thinks you should kill yourself though.

I will ALWAYS check those claiming to sell items for charity, the internet is rife with those lying, and those who do that are breaking the law. If you don't mention it's for charity, and then suddenly do, especially when it should mean so much to you, it's always going to raise flags, especially in multiple threads. If it's for charity, there's a major selling point there, and I don't understand why you wouldn't use it.

Hope your mum is as okay as she can be, it's for people like your mum I fundraise, to help provide the support needed for people which is the reason I just donated £2400 to Maggie's Centres in the last half hour. If you have a centre local to you, I'd urge your mum and family to drop by for a cuppa and have a chat with them, they're an awesome place for anyone affected by cancer, and really do help.
