Fanmail - help?

Hi,

I've got a problem for years now. I live in Europe in a small country. And there are some celebs (singer, actor, and so on...) who I wanna write to. I can find so many addresses here too where I can ask for an autograph.
But where should I write if I want to be sure that the famous person I want to write to a letter really gets it. You know what I mean. Not her/his assistant, not anybody else, but the celebrity her/himself really gets my letter and maybe (oh, I know, it's just a big dream) answers too.

So what do you think? Where should I write to them? Maybe to the same address where we write to ask for autographs?
Any idea?

I have no idea how these things work. All I know is that some stars don't sign those cards oneself.
But I have no idea what's with the real fan letters.

If you really want the celebrity to read your letter, you could say that in your letter and maybe their secretary will have them read it.

Some celebrities do actually read all their mail and reply to it personally. Also, you could try writing to their home address.

I think that you can't really know... If you get a reply, and you get an authentic autograph, and even more: if you ask for a personalization and the celebrity does it, then it means that most likely he/she read your letter.

Besides, I guess that there is a celebrity you would like to write to, not just knowing who reads or who doesn't read letters.

Like renef09 said, if you ask for a personalization and the celebrity does it, most likely they read your letter. There are many celebrities that read letters. For example, Chris Rankin who is in Harry Potter, replied personally to my letter. He said I have a friend who lives in your city......you might see me sometime if I come to visit.....
