Im going to mega con and hell be there he is charging 10 dollars for a signatureJustinsdad wrote:Wanted to share, if any of you are near the Louisville area, on March 26-I believe from 5-7:30-comic legend Neal Adams will be signing autographs at The Great Escape on Bardstown Rd.! They haven't released pricing yet, nor a limit for how many things he'll sign for one paid customer, and not sure yet if he'll be sketching. They didn't have any of those details ironed out yet when I was most recently there two days ago. Soon though!
I'm planning on attending-this is my 'home' shop, and there aren't a ton of opportunities for signings around here, outside of outward-bound college basketball players from Kentucky and Louisville, so it'd have to be a pretty big occurrence to keep me from going! I may POSSIBLY be able to help out with items for other collectors here, but I’ll just have to wait to see when details are made available.

Re: Comic Book Collectors
No idea yet on Adams doing sketches, the ONLY info nailed down was the date and time. But I'm almost positive I'll be back at the shop in the next couple days.
I'd LOVE to have a sketch from him-George Perez and Walt Simonson may be the only living artists I'd want artwork from more than Adams-but I probably won't have the expendable money once I pay to have my things signed, but we shall see.

I got an awesome head sketch of Swamp Thing from Phil Hester on wednesday using the address justinsdad posted, ty Mr.Hester and jd.
So far I have been sending index cards out for sketches, im very new to sketch collecting and just wanted to check with the community at large and make sure that there is not a better option. Any help would be much appreciated

I will NOT PM you an address.
I will assist you in getting said address.
IE: give you pointers on where to get it.

Wow that Simonson Superman is awesome! I contacted him about 6 months ago and he said he was sending me a sketch and i was begining to think he forgot! Hopefully i get mine soon, but even a year is well worth it for a guy like Walt
