I think it comes down to lack of experience and in some cases, if the person actually owns a Dick Van Dyke secretarial, they don't want their own items to be found to be non-authentic.
Much like a job where more experienced workers should take the newer works under their wing, more experienced autograph collectors need to continue pointing out the problems like secretarials.

All the Hi God Bless autographs are secretary. The experienced collectors know. No one will ever be correct in saying the usual ttm signatures are really his. They are not.
The topic will always continue because people want to delude themselves into thinking everything that isn't PP, AP or stamp is definitely signed by the celebrities. Some big time celebrities have been using secretaries for years. It's nothing new. Even in the mid-20th century, baseball teams used ball boy types to sign their autographs.
I don't get pleasure out of telling people their autographs are fake. I hate it. I hate knowing that I got fakes all those years despite all the money and effort I put into it. Sometimes the truth stings.
It's real.

Some people honestly just can't handle the truth. The fact of the matter is Dick's TTMs are sec. This isn't me "hating"... but if you study the two signatures, there's obvious differences.

Absolutely. Some people are just emabarrassed because they thought the TTMs were real and just cannot admit how wrong they were.

Total lie. I wasn't that person and have no idea what your "website" is. Those comments are obviously not written in my distinctive "voice", plus they are riddled with spelling and grammatical errors. Notice the misspelling of "amature" instead of the correct "amateur", and "your" instead of the proper "you're", not to mention a few others. I would never make such foolish errors. You'll notice I correctly spelled "amateur" in a previous posting, so why would I suddenly spell it wrong now?
