Nothing signed, ... but she sends 1 photo "official" ...................

P.O BOX 491668. LOS ANGELES , CA 90049-8668 USA

send 29-10-13

received, 12-2-14

thanks fanmail.

....if you're not happy with it, why'd you write to her? Did you somehow think you'd get something different than literally everyone else who writes to her?

hello

i'm not happy with this succes because i don't like the acctres / actors

who don't want to sign nothing. Only this.

Thanks
Once again, so you wrote to one who doesn't sign why? So you can cry and complain about how you aren't special enough to get an autograph from someone who doesn't sign?

Look at past Feedback. The only people who got anything signed sent books. Even that wasn't a guarantee.

If you want to complain about how you hate what you got back, go somewhere else. This isn't a board for entitled whiners to complain about getting the same response as literally everyone else.

By looking at your post, the only explanation is that you're some kind of "Woe is me" masochist who deliberately put themselves in a position where they'll be disappointed just so they can effing complain about it.

All the guy did was send a letter too mary poppins for an autograph and your getting all heated up about it. Now calm down and breath. There's a good boy :D xxxx

You need to learn to read.

All the OP did was send for an autograph and then complain about what they got back.

It's that complaining that I have a problem with. It's like someone sending to SFM and complaining that they got a PP or AP or sending to Spanky Taylor and complaining about an AP, or sending John Travolta and complaining about getting a sec.

If you can't bother spending 5 seconds to see what previous Feedbacks yield, you have NO RIGHT to complain that you're not special enough to get something that NOBODY ELSE got.

Show me one single success in the last 5 years where someone sent a picture to that address and got an authentic autograph back.

Now that you've looked and seen that such a thing is impossible because such a thing NEVER happened, explain to me what the OP expected to get back.

Just because you people live in dreamland where you're super special and every single celebrity should sign just for you (even though they don't for anyone else) doesn't mean that's a reflection of reality.

If I write to Oprah and request a signed check for $500,000, should I complain because I didn't get it? No. Because that would make me an entitled idiot.

It's one thing to make the request. It's another to complain that you didn't get something that 5 seconds of research would've told you that you wouldn't get in the first place.

Like I said, you want to complain about not being special, take it somewhere else.

People say this but not always this happens as Taylor swift and Britney success and Kirk Douglas successes here in last 2 weeks are an example as very rarely they sign but I think Taylor swift does very often it's just some people get lucky and some people don't like I got Julie Andrews Mary poppins last year she signed my book but I agree people shouldn't moan as it's just pot luck.

Taylor Swift has signed occasionally. Kirk Douglas signs books.

Julie Andrews, as pointed out, signs books.

But there's a big difference between writing to Taylor Swift or JK Rowling (who will sometimes sign very rarely) & sending a picture to Julie Andrews, who has shown no interest whatsoever in signing pictures sent to her. At all.

And I'm not saying that people shouldn't send to people who don't sign and hope they get lucky enough.

I'm saying that it's a 1 in 1,000,000,000,000,000 chance of getting something signed, so you have no right to complain that you got treated like everyone else. Especially in this case, where she's been sending the same note and photo for years, and before that, the only difference was that it was a different photo.

If you send Julie Andrews a book, you'll get it signed--if you're lucky.

If you send Julie Andrews a photo, you'll get this. Period. No negotiation. No "But what if I...". Nothing will yield you a hand-signed photo of Julie Andrews TTM from this address any more than you'll get a hand-signed photo from SFM. Not gonna happen.

Want to cross your fingers, pray, and try anyway? Go ahead, it's your dime. But if you do, don't come on here and whine that it didn't work out when you knew going into that you had a higher chance of winning the lottery than getting a signed photo.

If you didn't know that going in, then you should've done your research.

Geeze, you really need to lighten the fuck up. So he was unhappy with it, thats fair enough. Nothing seemed whiny in the OP to me, just disappointment which is understandable. I really hope you don't have kids cos they are in for a world of hurt with a parent as tightly wound as you seem to be.
Recent Successes:
Jessica Chastain, Saoirse Ronan!<3 (TTM), Uzo Aduba, Laura Carmichael & Zawe Ashton (ip), Jane Horrocks, Gemma Arterton, Jim Broadbent, Lucy Liu, Christina Ricci, Andres Muschietti, Bill Skarsgard, and the cast of IT, Ian McKellen, Noomi Rapace (VV), MST3K/Rifftrax main cast (Mike Nelson, Bill Corbett, Kevin Murphy), Geddy Lee (ip)

I agree. All he did was try. Just because other people didn't have a success doesn't mean he won't. Even though the chance of it is slim there's always a chance. I have seen signed photo successes on other sites from this address.

No, you haven't.

Any "signed photos" you saw from this address were the PPs from a few years ago before she updated the photo or the person was lying.

And yes, saying things like "I don't like actors/actresses who don't sign" is totally understandable and not the least bit whiny or entitled at all!
