Re: Gene Wilder Success & Failure!
I know this is an old thread, but I was wondering if anyone know the CT address that I could try also in case the address on fanmail.biz on LA isn't a success?
Re: Gene Wilder Success & Failure!
first time seeing this post, i agree with the previous comment, a hand written letter is way more valuable and cooler than a signed photo or dvd cover. put that in a frame

Unless someone's going to spend the money for an acid free, conservation matted frame with an acid free backer and UV coated (plexi)glass hung in a temperature and humidity controlled environment outside any motion path which will need to be opened every few years and replaced every 10-20, calling something valuable and then advocating putting it in a frame is one of the stupidest things I've seen on this website.
And I've seen A LOT of stupid things on this website.
Re: Gene Wilder Success & Failure!
no the stupidest thing on this website is you crying about receiving a death threat (which you didn't) and then going over to autograph live's message board claiming that you're done coming here, yet here you are. you're a pathetic crybaby loser seeking any attention you can get. PATHETIC!!!MW1221 wrote:TheArtist wrote:a hand written letter is way more valuableTheArtist wrote:put that in a frame![]()

secondly, you don't need all of that crap when buying a frame you retard. keep it away from sunlight, obviously, is all you need to do. once again you proved that you're the world's biggest loser, crybaby, and now, moron
my third point is just a summary of my first, you're a pathetic idiot. now go over to autograph live and cry a little more

Unlike you, I'm actually going to keep this on topic, because there's too much stupidity in this post to discuss anything else.TheArtist wrote:no the stupidest thing on this website is you crying about receiving a death threat (which you didn't) and then going over to autograph live's message board claiming that you're done coming here, yet here you are. you're a pathetic crybaby loser seeking any attention you can get. If you think that when you're framing for preservation, all you need to do is keep the frame out of the sunlight, then you'll be in for a HUGE surprise in about 10 years (or less, depending on the material you have signed).
A piece of paper like the OP has will start to show between 6 months to 2 years (closer to the 6 months if the frame is a cheap wood composite, as the glue on those alone is incredibly acidic, even if the paper isn't touching it). Not to mention the amount of UV in the common household light (even if it is completely out of the sun).
Even this post contradicts you:

But whatever. Keep thinking that all you need to do when framing valuable autographs is "keep them out of the sun". Not my collection that will yellow and disintegrate.
Re: Gene Wilder Success & Failure!
i have documents in frames that are over 20 years old and they're still in perfect condition.MW1221 wrote:

You're the one posting about frames, while saying you don't care about frames.TheArtist wrote:i have documents in frames that are over 20 years old and they're still in perfect condition.MW1221 wrote:
