How do you know when a celeb is at a venue & for how long??

How do I know when a celeb is at a venue or filming a movie or are on broadway to write them? Like for instance, Dustin Hoffman is filming a movie right now..but I don't know how to find the address for him..I looked on IMDB but I still don't really know what I'm looking for.

also, how do you know how long the address is valid for?

I'm new to all this so I'm just trying to get some info :)
