I haven't written any fanmail letters for almost two years, so this was a complete surprise for me! I was very happy to find this in my mailbox when I came home from vacation last week, even if it took more than five years!

Sent: In February 2009 (sorry, I don't remember the exact date), I think I only sent a letter
Received: June 2014 (I'm not sure on which day, because I was on vacation the whole month, somewhere between the 5th and 24th of june). I received an autographed and personalized picture and even I very nice letter

I think I used the Cold Case address, which is no longer valid:

Wow, this is an awesome reply! What a great guy, to follow up with your note 5 years later--and not just send a signed and personalized photo but a letter too! Congratulations.

I hear you--I loved Cold Case and was very sad when it got cancelled. I remembered Mr. Ratchford as a cast member so this thread caught my eye. Love that the name on the return address is "Ratch". No doubt a nickname he's gone by over the years.
